An interview exclusive straight from Surebol:

Where did you get the name of your band? Why (Name of your band)???

A: The name came from the local slang " Surebol " meaning accurate or sure. We really did not spend much time for the name. But the way it turned out is just fine. It's easy to remember and catchy.

When the band started playing??

A: The band started last year mga (2014) March as a project band. We had 1 gig then had to lay low kay daw wala chemistry. Then we decided to go back December same year then never turned back from then.

Sino maarte when it comes sa food??

A: Hmmmm. Hahahahaha. Si Sam wala ga kaon utan. hahahahahha. But being a band where most of the time we are on the road wala man kami ga pili pagkaon kay budget wise gipit man. Hehehe. Pero si Sam gid ya wala ga kaon utan. hahahaha.

Who design your album?

A: We have our close friend Jet from Butcher Squad ( https://www.facebook.com/butchersquadph/?fref=ts ) do it for us. He is a great fit in making the design. Not a hard person to work with. Shout out gd saiya thank you gid pre sa bulig. We still owe him for the design. hahaha.

Tell us something about your band??

A: We are currently recording for the album in Bacolod sa Backbone Recordings (https://www.facebook.com/backbonerecordings/?fref=ts ) where we hope to finish this year gid. Aside from that we are just doing all the best we can to get our music across. Get as many gigs as we can in the city and out of town. We have been working twice as hard as before. We have a long way to go pa. Pero we are willing to take that deep plunge and start making a mark in the scene.

And you’re Influence?

A: Music wise. Daw ka damo lang gid kami influence. We listen to almost everything. But we get more inspiration by bands who have inspirational themes with the songs. I guess the range would be from Taylor Swift to Slipknot that type of influence. Damo2x abi.

Paano kamo mag ubra kanta?? Lyrics muna o sabay na??

A: We often start with the riffs then we try to see if maka adjust ang tanan. Then we try to have everyone aboard. Once maka adjust na then that's the time we make the lyrics. Nothing fancy actually. Same basic type of song arrangement.

A: Never give up in your dreams. If you believe it will happen. Surebol na.
