Who named the band?? Why Mongrel Blood??

- Firstly, it's Mongrelblood. One word. We all named it so because we got online flak when we chose the name, Mongrel when we started out. We were called Askal at one point and we decided to stick with Mongrelblood as it reflected our various "mixed-breed" influences when we started out.

Tell us more about your music???

-Thrash Metal is what it is but not typical thrash metal. Yes, it's got the essential elements but we all have inputs in

the song writing process so its more of the "mongrel" sound that makes it distinct.

How Mongrel create their music?? Lyrics muna o bagsakan na?

-We come up with a musical skeleton. A tune or a riff then we go from there. We usually mix everything up and listen to how it sounds if we like it or not. After the sequence is complete. The lyrics are placed in last.

Who design the Mongrel Logo?? -Our vocalist, Dennis is the one who makes the designs and art for the band. If the band is cool with it, it gets laid down.

During recoding who are in-charge in technical stuff when it comes to mastering?

-Everything is pretty much "Mongrel". Francis (drums) is the one who is very particular with how the song is laid out together with Jonathan (guitars). Jokjok (guitars) is pretty much the in between guy while Dedrick (bass) and Dennis (vocals) are the ones who prefer making the songs out of feelings and emotions. It's more like a combination of insights when it comes to mastering.

Sinong band members ang mahilig sa foods?? –

Si Jonathan. Ngaa? Kay wala xa ga shat. Dason, si Dennis kay mas damo ang sumsuman kumpara sa shat. Tapos si Jokjok kag Francis, balanced diet sa pagkaon kag shat. Si Dedrick, puro shat lang. Since Mongrel Blood travel a lot …

There is no room for people with weak stomachs in Mongrelblood. Bawal ang maarte sa pagkain.

Sa ngayon an gang pangarap ng bandang Mongrel Blood??

World tour, Wacken, Hellfest Europe... For now, it's making another album... And another one after that. We dream though, that one day... People grow some balls instead of clits and listen to real metal music.

Are we expecting new album? This year?

We are always in the process of making new songs so the expectations must be constant. Check us out first though.
