the JAVANAUGHT! Who are they?

Jvnght was originally planned as a one-man-band with a backing track for drums and synths. But due to low end qualities of PA systems during local gigs, Jvnght decided to perform live with a drummer -- Jom-X.

Who coined the name Javanaught? Why? I really cannot remember its origin but I think the "-naught" word came from "juggernaught", which means something big, heavy, and loud.

Tell us about your music and Influence. Jvnght will try to focus on heavy & simple riffs with psychedelic progression. Since it is open to experiment with other genres, Jvnght's musicality will always be diverse.

How do Javanaught create their music? Every day, ideas come up in my head and as soon as I get the tone, beat and progression, I make a raw audio out of it using voice memo on my phone. As soon as I get home, I review all of my saved tracks and record it again using real instruments. Demo tracks are then sent to the drummer for additional inputs.

Tell us about your album. There is no target date but an album will be released within this year.

Sinong band members ang madalas late sa gig, practice at iba pa? Bakit? Both of us are always late during practice but during events I always show up early to check the band gear/set up. Jom-X and I have other responsibilities that affect our time commitment for rehearsals but during events we "try" not to be late.

Any plans for the future? Jvnght plans after 5 years? After 5 years Jvnght will evolve more both in music and in members.

Besides making music what are the crafts that make all the members involved? The foundation of our bond is always related to music. Both members also have project bands for cover and original songs.
